In a match played in driving rain, West Mids did not defend and the home side scored almost at will.

On 79 minutes, Mark Bellingham, who battled away all through the game pulled a goal back for West Mids with a fierce drive from the edge of the box. Then, on 85 minutes Stuart Gray scored Massey's 8th goal and three minutes later, Mark Bellingham scored a second consolation goal for the Police.
